In addition to the two Birkenes teams, 42 other teams played in Jenter 13 (født 2008). They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Birkenes 1 could be found in Group H together with Sola Håndballklubb, Greipstad IL Blå and Lillestrøm Håndballklubb.

Birkenes 1 continued to Sluttspill B after reaching 4:th place in Group H. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Kristiansand 1 with 0-10. In the Final, Greipstad IL Blå won over Sandar IL and became the winner of Sluttspill B in Jenter 13 (født 2008).
